Message Series

This year we are learning how to keep our focus on the Lord in the areas of our faith, finances, family, failures, and future. When we are having physical difficulties, we focus on our health problems. When we are having trouble financially, we focus on our money (or lack of it as may be the case). When relationships are going south, we often focus on our loneliness. While those are the norms of our culture, God has called us to "not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." (Romans 12:2)

We need a Biblical focus. We desire a Christian worldview. God wants our focus to be on him. In the midst of whatever trouble we may find ourselves; physical, financial, relational or anything else, God wants us to keep our focus on Him. When we do so, we realize that God is sovereign over every problem we encounter. Our challenge is to "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" (Matthew 6:33). When we do that, God takes care of us in every way.

Our current message series asks the question, "Where is your focus?" Currently we are examining how to stay focused on the Lord in our finances. Next month we will look at how to stay focused in our family relationships. We hope you will be blessed as we study God's Word together and learn how to keep our focus on Him in an everchanging world. When we do not focus on the Lord, our vision in the rest of life is blurred. When our focus is on Jesus, we see clearly in every aspect of our lives. Where is your focus?
